The Medicated
Claustrophobic - movement is restricted
Popping pills - emotions are inhibited
"You're not normal," society says
"Here, take this. Who cares what it is."
"Go along with what you are told.
Do not be different. Do not be too bold."
You will be treated if you cause trouble.
They will take you down and make it double.
"The truth is you might not be sane."
They look at you with such disdain.
"You do not function as you should,
With decent drugs you probably would."
So go ahead and take your medications,
Your only concern is to meet expectations.
